in each facility to avoid any single point of failure in network connectivity
or power.
World Courier Ground utilizes internet connections from two major tier-one
providers. If one network should fail, our computer systems automatically reroute
traffic over the second internet connection. In the unlikely event of a total
power outage, uninterruptible power supplies would feed all our servers for up
to 24 hours. We backed that up with on-site generators that can power each facility
indefinitely. We routinely test backup functionality to ensure that we will be
there for you in case of an emergency. |

Because security is critically important, we back up all our data multiple
times throughout the day and secure it offsite.
We’ve installed antivirus software enforced at the firewall level on
all servers and workstations. This means World Courier Ground personnel can only
access the internet on computers with up-to-date antivirus software. We monitor
all email and scan for viruses and offensive attachments. Any information you
enter into our systems or give our employees is for our business use only. We
will never reveal information to an outside party. |
